Week nine genuinely had everything - work-from-home comfort, chaotic travel, emotional goodbyes, weather drama, and deadlines attacking from every direction. One thing I’ve understood lately is that no two weeks in this life feel the same. Some are smooth, some are emotional, and some feel like the universe keeps adding “extra masala” just for fun. This week? Definitely the third category.

Week nine genuinely had everything - work-from-home comfort, chaotic travel, emotional goodbyes, weather drama, and deadlines attacking from every direction. One thing I’ve understood lately is that no two weeks in this life feel the same. Some are smooth, some are emotional, and some feel like the universe keeps adding “extra masala” just for fun. This week? Definitely the third category.

Day 1 - One More Day of Home Comfort

Monday started with an unexpected extension of my stay at home because I couldn’t get train tickets to come back. Secretly, I wasn’t even mad about it. One extra day with family, home food, and comfort before jumping back into office chaos? Needed. But of course, work never pauses. The day was packed with videos, carousels, and posts while I switched between work mode and chilling with family. By night, it was finally time to leave - bus booked for 11 PM, mentally preparing myself for another travel story.

Day 1 - One More Day of Home Comfort

Monday started with an unexpected extension of my stay at home because I couldn’t get train tickets to come back. Secretly, I wasn’t even mad about it. One extra day with family, home food, and comfort before jumping back into office chaos? Needed. But of course, work never pauses. The day was packed with videos, carousels, and posts while I switched between work mode and chilling with family. By night, it was finally time to leave - bus booked for 11 PM, mentally preparing myself for another travel story.

Day 2 - Bus Breakdown & Straight to Work Mode

And the travel story delivered. The bus literally broke down near Chengapalli, almost 80 km away from Coimbatore. Imagine being stuck there, tired, sleep-deprived, and just wanting to reach Bengaluru already. What was supposed to be a normal overnight journey turned into a full adventure. Somehow, after all the delays, I reached Bengaluru around 1 PM and rushed straight to office, reaching by 2–2:30 like some corporate warrior. No recovery time, no pause - just directly entering full-speed work mode.

But the real plot twist came after office. Bengaluru decided to go full dramatic mode with an insane hailstorm. No cabs, no auto drivers willing to pick up, complete chaos everywhere. I waited for almost 45 minutes just trying to get back to my PG. Somehow survived the weather battle and finally made it back.

The day itself was comparatively lighter because Shalini was there, which automatically made things more manageable. Work continued as usual - posts, edits, deadlines, repeat. Today was our intern Kimkim’s last day with us, and honestly… a little emotional. It’s strange how quickly people become part of your daily routine. One day you’re casually working together, and suddenly it’s farewell speeches and goodbye moments. The emotions were there, but deadlines were also there - so the work continued, because agency life truly never pauses.

Day 4 - A Random Walk & A Good Conversation

The week had been so work-heavy that I felt like doing something slightly spontaneous. I had already reached the metro, but instead of taking my usual route, I decided to walk to the office. Around 2 kilometers. Fifteen to twenty minutes later, I reached - surprisingly refreshed. Sometimes a small break from routine resets your brain. That day I finally got to properly meet Shalini, another designer in the team. Super talented and genuinely nice to talk too. The work continued with more static posts, and just like the previous day, lunch didn’t happen because I forgot to bring one. Apparently week two had declared war on my lunch breaks.

Day 5 - Friday? More Like Final Boss Level

It was Friday — supposedly the last working day of the week - but the workload clearly didn’t get the memo. Today was absolute madness.
7 movie reviews. Dailies. 2–3 carousels. And endless work in between. The kind of day where your brain stops processing after a point and just auto-functions. By the end of it, everyone looked equally exhausted. Peak chaos. Peak deadlines. Peak agency life.
