Not Every Week Feels Like Growth
Some weeks don’t feel exciting or productive - they feel heavy. Week seven was that kind of week. No big wins, no high-energy days… just emotions, overthinking, and trying to keep going. It started with a feeling I hadn’t really faced yet since moving - missing home. And once that feeling settles in, everything else starts to feel a little harder.

Day 1 - When Everything Feels Too Much
The week began on a low note. I had a breakdown. Work was there, tasks were there, deadlines were moving - but mentally, I wasn’t present.
I just needed emotional support, something familiar, something comforting. Being away from home hit me harder than expected. I still showed up, but this time, it wasn’t about productivity — it was about just getting through the day.

Day 2 - Functioning, Not Feeling
Day two was all about doing what needed to be done. Statics, videos, “What Happened in 24 Hours,” IPL creatives - everything continued. On the outside, it probably looked like a normal workday. But internally, I was low on energy, just running on routine. No excitement, no extra push - just finishing tasks one after another.

Day 3 - The Realization Hits
By day three, it hit me - this is what corporate life can feel like sometimes. Not always creative highs or exciting days, but consistency, pressure, and showing up even when you don’t feel like it. The work continued - statics, carousels, videos, IPL content — but this time, there was a realization sitting quietly in the background. It’s not always going to feel good… and that’s part of it.

Day 4 - Trying to Feel Better Through Work
I got assigned an IPL video, and for a moment, I felt a spark - okay, this could be fun. I wanted to give it my best. I experimented, generated jersey visuals, used tools like remove background, added extra effort… maybe also trying to distract myself from how I was feeling. Sometimes, work becomes your escape. And that day, I really tried to pour myself into it.

Day 5 - IPL Grind & Designer Mode ON
The day kicked off with IPL creatives - and let me just say, I’ve been deep in this IPL zone. By now, We’ve done around 90–95 creatives, which honestly feels insane to even say. Along with that, I handled posts, carousels, and extra work without slowing down. At this point, speed + consistency is becoming my thing. Deadlines are still tight, but I’m moving faster than I thought I could.

Day 5 - IPL Grind & Designer Mode ON
I shared my first draft… and it didn’t land. The feedback was simple: too much, keep it simple, no need for all this. The project was reassigned. I didn’t cry - but it definitely hit me. Not because of the work alone, but because I had put in extra effort when I was already emotionally low. It was one of those moments where you just sit quietly and process everything.
Closure - Trust, Speed & A Little Confidence Boost
This week wasn’t easy. It was emotional, draining, and it definitely affected my work. But it also taught me something important — not everything needs to be overdone to be good. Sometimes, simple works. Sometimes, less is better. And sometimes, it’s okay to have off days.
Maybe this week wasn’t about performance… maybe it was about understanding myself a little better.
Current status: healing, learning, and slowly finding balance again.
