Not Every Week is Cute, Some Are Just… Real

Week five wasn’t all fun, wins, and cute little moments. It felt a little heavier, a little more exhausting, and a lot more real. The kind of week where work keeps coming, energy keeps dropping, and you’re just figuring it out as you go. But somewhere in between the chaos, there were also small shifts - the kind that quietly change you.

Day 1 - CSK Fan in an RCB World

The week kicked off with posts and carousels as usual, but one of them hit personally - a CSK carousel. And let me tell you, while I was making it, it genuinely felt like the entire office energy was against me. Being a CSK supporter in what clearly felt like an RCB-dominated environment? Tough situation. Still, I pushed through, did my work, and made sure the creative turned out well - loyalty intact.

Day 2 - Work vs Health (Again…)

Day two was packed with work - posts, edits, repeat. But this time, my health wasn’t really cooperating. I could feel it slowly deteriorating, that low-energy, slightly off feeling creeping in again. Still, like every other day, I showed up, did the work, and kept going. At this point, “pushing through” is basically a personality trait.

Day 3 - More Ideas, More Work, More Pressure

This day was intense in a different way. Since we had more people in the team, we decided to push ourselves and do more than usual. One of the key things we worked on was changing the template for our “What Happened in 24 Hours” content. It was exciting to experiment, but also meant more effort, more thinking, and more pressure to make it better than before.

Day 4 - Goodbyes, Cake & A Little Bit of Everything

The day started light - calm, manageable, almost peaceful. But post-lunch? Total switch. Work piled up again, and the pace picked up instantly. But what really made the day memorable was something else - a few really nice people from Odigma were leaving. We had a small farewell with speeches, cake cutting, and of course… vadapav. It was one of those bittersweet moments - happy for them, but also feeling that quiet shift in the environment.

Day 5 - Holiday That Wasn’t a Holiday

It was supposed to be a holiday - Good Friday. But in our world, work doesn’t really pause. Someone had to take responsibility… and that someone was me. I worked from home the entire day, and honestly, it was exhausting. The heat, the workload, the screen time - everything added up. By the end, my head was aching, and my energy was completely drained. Not the ideal “holiday vibe,” but a very real workday.

Closure - From Shy to Seen

This week wasn’t perfect - it was messy, tiring, and a little overwhelming. But it also brought an unexpected change. I’ve always been someone who doesn’t like people watching me work. But now, with the monitor setup, everyone could see my screen, my designs, my process - and they always had something to say. At first, it felt uncomfortable. But slowly, it helped me open up. It pushed me out of that shy space. And maybe that’s what this week was really about - not just surviving work, but growing a little more confident in the process.
