Back in the Game (With Slight Trust Issues)

Week four started with me coming back from home - better in health, stronger in spirit, and slightly more prepared for whatever chaos office life was about to throw at me. After a much-needed pause in week three, this felt like a comeback arc. But of course, nothing in agency life is ever calm for too long. This week quickly turned into a mix of heavy workload, emotional damage (thanks to my laptop), and small wins that kept me going.

Day 1 - Healthy Again & Suddenly Over-Productive

Coming back to Bengaluru felt like stepping right back into the fast lane. And somehow, on a random Monday, I unlocked peak productivity. I genuinely don’t know how, but I managed to get through a huge chunk of work - strong creatives, multiple posts, and around six videos. SIX. It was one of those days where you surprise yourself. After being sick the previous week, this felt like a solid “I’m back” moment.

Day 2 - Laptop vs Me: Round 57

And just when things started going smoothly… my laptop decided to act up again. Illustrator crashed. Photoshop crashed. My patience? Also almost crashed. I raised the issue with my seniors because at this point, it was becoming a pattern. But deadlines don’t pause for technical issues, so I kept going - managing posts and even working on a podcast video in between all the chaos. Adaptation level: expert.

Day 3 - Big Plans, Bigger Workload

The day started with a team meeting, and let’s just say - we decided to level up. More ideas, more output, more expectations. Which also meant… more work. The day turned hectic really fast - two carousels, posts, podcast video — everything stacked together. I could literally feel my time, energy, and bandwidth draining. But one good thing finally happened: my laptop issue was partially addressed. The RAM got upgraded from 16GB to 24GB. Growth… but make it technical.

Day 4 - The Never-Ending Crash Saga

At this point, my laptop and I are in a full-blown toxic relationship. Day four - and yes, it crashed again. Work continued as usual: creatives, edits, deadlines. But the system was still using up all its memory like it had an unlimited appetite. Honestly, it feels like my laptop just wants more and more… attention, RAM, patience - everything. Meanwhile, I’m just trying to survive.

Day 5 - Calm Morning, Chaos Evening & A Surprise Win

Friday morning felt suspiciously calm. Almost too calm. I actually thought, “Wow, maybe today will be light.” Biggest mistake. The second half hit like a plot twist - sudden workload, multiple tasks, and full-speed execution mode. But at this point, I think my college training has prepared me well for these moments because I handled it. And just when the day was about to end - a surprise. I GOT A MONITOR. Finally. A small win, but felt like a big upgrade in my life.

Closure - Parathas, Aam & Pure Survival Energy

If there was one thing that truly carried me through this week - it was ghar ka khaana. Mumma packed parathas, and paired with aam, they became my survival kit for 3–4 days straight. Between heavy workloads, constant crashes, and never-ending deadlines, those meals felt like comfort in the middle of chaos. Week four wasn’t easy - it was intense, draining, and slightly dramatic - but it also reminded me how much I’m capable of handling. One thing’s clear: I’m not just adjusting anymore… I’m surviving, adapting, and slowly owning this phase.
