Maybe I’m Actually Becoming Good at This
Week ten felt different. Not easier - definitely not easier - but different in a good way. Somewhere between all the chaos, tight deadlines, endless creatives, and constant pressure, I realized something: I’ve changed. The girl who once felt overwhelmed walking into office is now handling insane workloads, delivering faster, experimenting more, and actually getting recognized for her work. And honestly? That feels nice.

Day 1 - 14 Creatives & A Much-Needed Compliment
Monday came in like a storm. 14 creatives. Including carousels. Absolute madness. The kind of workload where your brain switches to autopilot and your hands just keep moving. It was hectic, exhausting, and non-stop — but there was one thing that made the day worth it. A creative I had made on Friday was appreciated by the client. THEY REALLY LIKED IT. And somehow, that one compliment gave me enough motivation to survive the rest of the workload. Crazy how a few good words can instantly recharge a designer. bye bye lappy….

Day 2 - Workload Continues, But So Does Growth
If I thought day one was enough… nope. Day two came with around 11 more creatives. At this point, deadlines and I are basically roommates. But the day had wholesome moments too - I brought banana chips for my team, and those little snack-sharing moments honestly make office life feel lighter. We also had a group meeting where we discussed focusing more on videos since they were getting good traction. And then came my little proud moment - the vegetable reel I had worked on crossed around 50k views, and I got appreciated for it. Ngl, that felt really good. Like okay… maybe my things are working.

Day 3 - Stories of Mothers & Late Evening Podcasts
With Mother’s Day approaching, we planned something meaningful - sharing stories of amazing mothers to inspire people and give them recognition. It genuinely felt nice working on content with emotional value attached to it. Along with that, the usual dailies continued and because agency life loves surprises, a podcast video magically arrived at 6:30 PM. Which obviously meant… staying till 8 PM. At this point, unexpected evening tasks are basically part of my lifestyle.

Day 4 - “Light Workday” But Designer Brain Says Otherwise
The day actually felt lighter than usual - which is funny because I think I’m now so used to chaos that normal workloads feel suspicious. Today I worked on a recipe post and experimented a little with the layout and style. And surprisingly? Everyone in the office really liked it. BIG YAY. Honestly, those moments matter a lot to me because experimenting is scary sometimes… but when it works, it feels amazing.
Day 4 - A Random Walk & A Good Conversation
The week had been so work-heavy that I felt like doing something slightly spontaneous. I had already reached the metro, but instead of taking my usual route, I decided to walk to the office. Around 2 kilometers. Fifteen to twenty minutes later, I reached - surprisingly refreshed. Sometimes a small break from routine resets your brain. That day I finally got to properly meet Shalini, another designer in the team. Super talented and genuinely nice to talk too. The work continued with more static posts, and just like the previous day, lunch didn’t happen because I forgot to bring one. Apparently week two had declared war on my lunch breaks.
Day 5 - Speed, Snacks & Finally… Weekend
Friday started at full speed with 5 movie reviews plus posts - all delivered within 30–40 minutes. Crazy speed, I know but I think I’m genuinely getting used to this pace now. Somewhere along the way, the pressure trained me. And best part? OFFICE SNACKS TODAYYYY. Nothing boosts workplace morale like unexpected snacks. By the end of the day, I was equal parts happy and completely exhausted. The kind of tired where your body shuts down but your brain is still processing deadlines.

Closure — This Week Made Me Proud
This week genuinely made me proud of myself. Not because everything was perfect - but because I handled it. I took on heavy workloads, delivered things on time (sometimes even before time), and learned how to filter opinions without letting them affect me too much. I also started addressing issues instead of silently adjusting - and it actually brought change. One of the biggest wins? My monitor setup finally became a proper desktop setup instead of just an extended screen. Small technical improvement… massive emotional happiness. We also got a new Account Manager in the team, which means new dynamics, new learning, and probably more chaos ahead. But for the first time in a while, I feel ready for it.
